?O Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou Romeo?? Romeo is presently in a foster home after he was found abandoned along with a female dog by his previous owners. A tragic beginning to his story, but we believe there will be a happy ending. Romeo looks like a Chihuahua mix, about 2 to 3 years old and 12 pounds. He is fantastic with the other dogs of all sizes in his foster home?he doesn?t play with them, but seems to enjoy their company and likes to ?hang out.? (Especially his buddy Fudge!) Romeo is mildly shy, but doesn?t take long to learn to trust. If his foster mom is sitting in a chair, he will jump into her lap and settle down for some great cuddling. He LOVES to cuddle! He is mostly a quiet dog and not yappy. We have seen NO issues with guarding around food and toys. Basically, he has been a pleasure to take care of!! Romeo?s adoption fee is 200 dollars and includes shots, heartworm and fecal testing, neuter and microchip. He will only be adopted within 1.5 hours of the northern Chicago suburbs?sorry, no exceptions. Parting is such sweet sorrow were it not for the hope of a better tomorrow!
